Violin Player
Majored violin and western music at the Ueno Gakuen Colledge of Music. Formed a microtone experimental pop duo SYZYGYS, with Hitomi Shimizu in 1985. Aside from live performances, the Duo produced CDs("43DPO", "SUMO"' 90, '95 CAFE disc) and participated in Modern Chokichokis' 2nd CD. Studied 'ud under Hamza el Din and played violin in his CD"Muwashaa"('95JVC). December1995 - April1998 in Cairo studied Arabic style violin under Abdou Dagir and played in his ensemble. Joined Oriental Jazz group "Sharkiat" leaded by Fathy Salama, having a lot of concerts in Egypt and abroad. Also worked with the Nubian singer Mohamed Munir as a violinist and participated in his CD"Al Alone",etc.
